FLIGHTS/HANDICAPS

*A Trackman account, handicap and app are required to participate

There are three flights in The League. Your flight is determined by you TRACKMAN HANDICAP. If you do not have a Trackman account or handicap, your first round will be used to determine one. 

Flights are will be based on the number of registrants/handicaps. 

PRIZING 

Prizing is weekly, based on national results per round, and will be awarded at the end of The League after March 8th, 2025 as follows: 

• Low Net Per Round (per flight): Receives $200 gift card (3 total gift cards per round)
• Runner-Up Per Round (per flight): Receives FREE 5 Pack Trackman (3 total per round)
• Closest To The Pin Per Round: Receives FREE 3 Pack Trackman (1 total per round)
• Longest Drive Per Round: Receives FREE 3 Pack Trackman (1 total per round)

THE LEAGUE FAQ

1. Can TrackMan sessions be completed any time throughout the month? Or will there be set times?
   Customers can book TrackMan sessions during any available time on the Modern Golf schedule. The course schedule will be set in advance of the league kick-off, so each month’s courses can be played at any time over that month.
   
   
2. What does TrackMan offer League members?
   TrackMan offers fun and competitive opportunities to test your game on some of the world’s most famous golf courses. With TrackMan’s app, you can also keep track of your stats, including driving distance and accuracy, greens in regulation, scoring average and handicap.
   
   
3. How long do the games usually take?
   The average round of 9 holes will take between 45-50 minutes to complete.
   
   
4. What is tee time availability on the weekends?

6. Are the sessions individual (1 person) or can I play with a friend during a single session?
   Modern Golf has both open concept and private bays. You may book simultaneously with friends and play along or against them.
   
   
7. How does booking sessions work with respect to groups?
   Modern Golf’s concierge staff is available to help groups book together.
   
   
8. Are you only allowed to play at your home location or can you book sessions at other locations?
   You may book your sessions at any participating location.
   
   
9. Does The League use Handicap Index or just Gross Scores?
   The League uses net scores.
   
   
10. How do I get my Trackman Handicap?
    
    To get your Trackman Handicap, make sure you're logged into your Trackman account and play a round without using mulligans. Also, keep your "gimme" distance within 12 feet or 3.5 meters. After your first round of Virtual Golf meeting these conditions, you'll receive your Trackman Handicap. Scores from private and tournament rounds that meet these requirements will be included in the calculation of your Handicap.
    
    
11. Will 9-hole rounds count toward updating my handicap?

    Yes, 9-hole rounds count, but only if you specifically select to play 9 holes (either front or back 9). If you choose to play 18 holes but quit after 10 holes without finishing the round, it won't count toward updating your Handicap.
